Westminster, MD - The Washington College Field Hockey team has no fear taking down the Green Terror of McDaniel, 4-2. The Shorewomen had four different goal scorers and held McDaniel scoreless until the fourth period.

How it Happened
- The Shorewomen scored first, 4:38 minutes into the first half. MaryCate Anson soared the ball past the goalie into the back of the net off a rebounded save by the McDaniel goalie after a shot from Samantha McMahon.
- Five minutes into the second quarter, Natalie Watkinson put the Shorewomen up 2-0. Watkinson received the corner entry from Emma Campbell and passed it down to Anson who gave it right back to Watkinson to strike the wide-open shot from the middle of the arc.
- Three minutes later, Tara Radebaugh gave the Shorewomen a comfortable 3-0 lead. Radebaugh received a pass from Julia Weglarz from the top of the arc. Radebaugh's shot from the left side of the goal went right between the goalie and the left post to secure the deep lead for the Shorewomen.
- Nearly two minutes into the second half, Tyler Rice scored the fourth and final goal of the game for the Shorewomen. Anson dribbled it into the arc and briefly had it taken by a defender. She regained control and passed the ball to Tyler Rice right in front of the goal. Rice took a shot immediately and put the Shorewomen up, 4-0.
- McDaniel was able to score two in the fourth period to move the score to 4-2. The Shorewomen defense held out and secured the win over the Green Terror.
