Chestertown, MD- The Washington College Women's Basketball team hold off the Gators of Notre Dame of MD to secure second win of the season.

How It Happened
- The score was tied, 7-7 with 5:48 left in the first period. The Shorewomen took the lead with 3:25 left. Ellie Carter-Soriano sunk two free throws to move the score to 9-7 in favor of the Shorewomen.
- Taylor Shane sunk two more free shots to end the period for the Shorewomen, 11-7.
- Kaitlyn Boggs scored the first bucket of the second period for the Shorewomen. Shane hit two more free throws and a jump shot to move the score to 17-14 in favor of the Shorewomen to end the half.
- Boggs begun the half with a turn around layup in the paint 30 seconds into the second half. Peyton Berger sunk a three point shot from Giulia Angeretti one minute later to push the Shorewomen ahead 22-14.
- The Gators scored one three pointer in the third period.
- Amaya Cash got involved in scoring on her end sinking a three from Boggs. The Shorewomen finished the period on a 6-0 run to go up, 31-17.
- With 3:48 left in the final period, Notre Dame of MD made an attack on the Shorewomen. They caught up within six of the Shorewomen, 36-30.
- Emma Robinson had a quick response as she sunk a layup after collecting an offensive rebound. Shane kept the scoring going with a three-pointer from Boggs. The Shorewomen held the lead, 41-32.
- Shane took the ball coast to coast to secure the win for the Shorewomen putting them ahead, 45-34 with 27 left in the game.
