Chestertown, MD - The Washington College Women's Basketball team battled Stevenson in a non-conference match up. Kaitlyn Boggs led the Shorewomen to a victory with 20 points and 22 rebounds.

How It Happened 

• The score was tied, 15-15 at the end of the first ten minutes. Kaitlyn Boggs had ten of the Shorewomen's 15 with Abby Meredith adding in the final five.  
• Sarah Oleary sunk two three-pointers on either side of a Meredith three to begin the scoring for the Shorewomen in the second period.  
• The Shorewomen were up 28-18 with 4:43 left to play in the half. Stevenson scored three more points, but were answered with an Ellie Carter-Soriano three pointer to extend the lead for the Shorewomen at the half, 31-21.  
• Stevenson opened up the second half on a 14-2 run to take the lead from the Shorewomen, 35-33. The Shorewomen answered with 3:40 remaining as an Oleary layup from Carter-Soriano tied the score 35-35. Carter-Soriano sunk a three 31 seconds later to give the Shorewomen a three point lead. The Shorewomen were up at the end of the third, 41-38. 
• Meredith and Robinson each scored to start the final period. Meredith earned two free throws and Robinson took the ball coast to coast scoring an unassisted layup to put the Shorewomen up, 45-38.  
• The scoring was almost even for the remainder of the game. The Shorewomen outscored Stevenson 16-14 down the stretch to take the game, 59-54.
