Washington, DC- The Washington College Women's Basketball team hit the road to take on Trinity Washington in DC.

How It Happened 

• Abby Meredith hit a three after Kaitlyn Boggs brought down an offensive board to put the Shorewomen up first, 3-0.  
• The Shorewomen held Trinity Washinton to only two points for a majority of the first period. The score was 16-4 with 1:54 left to play in the first. Mia Filliben grabbed a defensive board and scored on the other end putting the Shorewomen up 18-4. A fast break layup by Sarah Oleary put the Shorewomen up 16 after the first ten minutes.  
• The scoring did not cease in the second period for the Shorewomen as they scored 26 to their opponent's five. Boggs led the charge with ten points and nine rebounds followed by Taylor Shane and Meredith each with eight points.  
• An eleven-point scoring run opened up the second half for the Shorewomen. They ended the third period up 42 points, 61-19. Trinity Washington outscored the Shorewomen ten to seven in the fourth period, but they could not make up the deficit as the Shorewomen took the game. 68-29.
