Sophomore Gracie Heintzelman (Hamburg, Pa./Carbon Career and Technical Institute) of trap & skeet is this week's Shorewoman of the Week. Heintzelman was second in the Ladies' HOA and finished in the top three in all six disciplines, including a first place finish in the Doubles Trap, as Washington College Trap & Skeet (WCTS) won the 2025 ACUI Upper East Coast Conference Championships this weekend in Glenn Dale, Maryland.
Heintzelman won the Doubles Trap with 42-of-50 targets drilled. She was second in the Doubles Skeet (36-of-50), American Skeet (89-of-100) and American Trap (90-of-100) and third in Sporting Clays (71-of-100) and Super Sporting Clays (28-of-50). Overall, the sophomore, who medaled in all six disciplines, hit 355-of-450 targets on the weekend for a 78.89% clip.
WCTS won the Team HOA by 246 targets over Maryland, 1904-1658.
This is Heintzelman's second career Shorewoman of the Week honor.
