Chestertown, MD– The Washington College Men's Basketball Team hosted game one of the Wild Goose Classic, their two-day home opening tip-off tournament! The Shoremen hit the ground running and never let up as they took down Bard, 68-43.

How It Happened
- Nolan Waldon scored first for the Shoremen. His layup was good after Max Portnoy stole the ball and passed it ahead for the first fast break points for the Shoremen.
- The Shoremen led, 13-2 after Jon Nalty sunk a two pointer five minutes into the game. Bard sunk a three thirty seconds later, but Nalty had the answer with a three pointer of his own from Ben Costello.
- Davis Bland hit a three to put the Shoremen up 19-5 with 11:15 left to play. The scoring did not slow down for the Shoremen as they headed into half leading Bard, 39-17.
- Ty Woodland made the first basket for either team to begin the second half. His layup was good from Portnoy. Ryan Lang got involved in the scoring with 16:30 left in the half. His three was good off a pass from Waldon. The Shoremen were up 45-17 with more than enough time to play.
- The first basket of the half for Bard came with 12 minutes left in the half. Jaedon Harris sunk a three to answer to put the Shoremen up, 52-20.
- With 10 minutes left, Caleb Alston earned his first collegiate bucket as he sunk a layup. The Shoremen kept the scoring going until the very end. They took down Bard, 68-43.
