Chestertown, MD-  Washington College Women's Basketball Team secures #4 seed in Centennial Conference Playoffs with a win over Ursinus, 56-50. The Shorewomen will host the first round of playoffs on Tuesday, February 25th, time is TBA.

How It Happened 
	- Abby Meredith opened the scoring up for the Shorewomen as she went one for two at the free throw line almost two minutes in. Avery Thomas captured the first field goal for the Shorewomen twenty seconds later as she made a layup after gathering an offensive rebound.  
 
	- The Shorewomen were up four, 4-8, with 3:33 left in the first quarter thanks to a Karry Kelliher three-pointer assisted by Emma Robinson. Ursinus tied the score up with 2:27 left in the quarter, 8-8. The score remained tied, 12-12, heading into the second quarter.  
 
	- Kaitlyn Boggs scored the first four points of the second for the Shorewomen as they took back the lead, 16-12. The Shorewomen outscored Ursinus 8-4 for the remainder of the quarter and held the lead heading into halftime, 24-16. 
 
	- Ursinus scored the first five points of the third quarter to cut their deficit to three. Kiersten Rose scored two layups in a row to move the Shorewomen back up seven, 28-21.  
 
	- Ursinus came within two points of the Shorewomen, 28-26, in the middle of the third. The Shorewomen ended the quarter up six, 36-30. 
 
	- Kelliher made a three point, and one play with 7:16 left in the fourth to move the score to 41-32, Shorewomen up by nine. The largest lead in the quarter for the Shorewomen would be with two minutes remaining as Boggs made a fast break layup to go up 50-40 on Ursinus.  
 
	- The Shorewomen allowed ten more points from Ursinus but scored six in the final two minutes of the quarter to secure the win and the fourth seed, 56-50.
