How It Happened
- Dickinson was able to get up 8-0 over the Shoremen. Ethan Schwantes scored first for the Shoremen four minutes in. Nicho Simes recorded the assist.
- Dickinson moved the score to 15-3 until the Shoremen really started to get going. Schwantes scored a layup again followed by a Ty Woodland driving layup. Schwantes made a jumper in the same minute to move the score to 15-9.
- The Red Devils were up 22-13 with 6:39 remaining in the half. Davis Bland sunk a pull up three-point jumper followed by a driving layup to put the Shoremen within four, 18-22. The Shoremen were able to capture the lead as Nolan Waldon sunk a three pointer with 3:33 left to go up one on the Red Devils, 25-24. The Shoremen were up 33-28 heading into halftime.
- The Shoremen could not score until 8:30 left in the half as Nicho Simes sunk two free throws after being fouled on a fast break layup. Dickinson had no trouble scoring as they put up 18 points before the Shoremen free throws. The Red Devils had the lead 46-35.
- Bland was the next to score for the Shoremen with 5:20 to go in the half. The score was 54-37, Dickinson led. Bland sunk his third three pointer of the night to move the score to 61-40, but the Shoremen still faced a 21 point deficit. Terrance Vincent Jr scored four points for the Shoremen in the final minutes of the half, but it was not enough as the Shoremen lost 70-48.
