Chestertown, MD – The Washington College Men's Lacrosse Team stood victorious over the Yellow Jackets of Randolph-Macon. The Shoremen never trailed as they captured the lead early in the first period. Three Shoremen earned hat tricks in the contest.

How it Happened
- The Shoremen scored first, 55 seconds into the first quarter. Cory Morgan put the Shoremen up 1-0. Cam Carrigan had the next goal for the Shoremen putting them up 2-0 early.
- Franklin Smithmeyer scored the third goal for the Shoremen as his shot on an empty Randolph-Macon goal hit the back of the net. The final goal for the Shoremen in the quarter came curtesy of Nate Winters who was assisted by Grant Matthews. The Shoremen were up 4-1 at the end of the period.
- Morgan scored the first goal of the period to start the second once again. Randolph-Macon answered with three goals of their own in a minute to move the score to 5-4. Aidan Wilson scored to put the Shoremen up two, seven seconds later. The Shoremen scored three more times to the Jackets' three as they continued to lead, 8-7.
- The score was tied, 10-10, at the end of the third. The two Shoremen goals in the period came from Morgan, unassisted, and Nate Winters on a man up goal, assist from Matthews.
- Winters scored the first goal of the final period for the Shoremen. He picked up a ground ball after Reeve Hargrave's shot was saved by the Jackets' goalie. The Shoremen went on a 5-1 run to close out the game. Carrigan scored twice, Nicky Bond, Jack Dupuis, and Hargrave all scored their first goals of the game. The Shoremen ended the day on top of the Yellow Jackets, 16-11.
