FORT PIERCE, Fla. – The Washington College baseball team scored 10 of the game's first 11 runs on its way to a 10-4 victory over Kenyon on Monday at Lawnwood Field 5. The Shoremen are now 8-2, while the Owls fall to 2-6.

How It Happened
- Washington used a four-run second inning to take the lead for the rest of the game.
Brady Wozniak put the Shoremen ahead 2-0 on a double down the right field line to score
Chase Ruppel and
Zach Stolze. The next batter,
Nick Miller singled to left to chase in both
Scooter SanFilippo and Wozniak to cap the four-run frame before an out was recorded.
- The Owls got on the board in the bottom half of the fourth on an RBI base hit with nobody out to trim the lead to 4-1.
- In the top half of the fifth, the Shoremen had their second four-run inning of the game to push the lead to 8-1. Wozniak gave WC a five-run lead with a two-run single to right that scored both Stolze and SanFilippo. With two outs, an error by Kenyon allowed Miller to score and
Matt Lewis capped it by coming home on a balk.
- Wozniak completed his five-RBI performance with a one-out base hit to right to drive Ruppel in the top of the sixth to extend the lead to 9-1 and a sacrifice fly by Miller chased in Stolze for the Shoremen's last run of the game that made it 10-1.
- Kenyon got two runs in the last of the seventh and one in the bottom of the eighth to provide the final margin.

Nico DiGrazio (win 2-0, six innings, seven hits, one run, one earned, three walks, four strikeouts)
- Washington had 16 hits and totaled four walks while leaving 11 on base.
- The Shoremen had one error in the game, but it did not lead to a run for the Owls.
