Chestertown, MD – Washington College Golf hosted their first ever tournament at Chester River Yacht and Country Club. They invited four other teams and placed fifth of five teams.  

How It Happened 

• The team's top finisher was John Matthai who finished in 8th place and was 15 over for the afternoon. He finished the round shooting an 86, nine points behind first place.  
• Matt Young was the second best Shoremen to finish in 12th place with a score of 89.  
• Ben McCumber finished the round shooting 21 over and a score of 92. Teddy Howard and Colby Byer finished in 21st and 22nd place, both shooting a 95, 24 over par.  
• The team finished 5/5 with a total score of 362.

The Shoremen will head to the Dickinson Spring Invitational this weekend, March 22nd & 23rd  in Carlisle, PA.
