Freshman MJ Rosenstiel (Drums, Pa./Marian Catholic) of trap & skeet is this week's Shoreman of the Week. Rosenstiel achieved a perfect score in American Skeet at the ACUI-SCTP Collegiate Clay Target National Championships last week in San Antonio, Texas as Washington College Trap & Skeet (WCTS) placed ninth out of 31 Division III programs.

Rosenstiel connected on all 100 targets in American Skeet and became the first from WCTS to hit every target in the discipline as he was 10th out of 175 competitors in helping the team to a fifth place finish out of 59 teams. In American Trap, he drilled 99-of-100 targets as he achieved ninth out of 194 participants as WCTS was eighth out of 60 squads. He set personal records in both American Skeet and American Trap at the championships placing second out of 900 in the combined disciplines. The freshman also nailed 96-of-100 in Doubles Skeet, placing 17th in the AA Division out of 155 shooters. Overall, he left a mark on 539-of-600 targets.
