Chestertown, MD- The Washington College Baseball Team battled offensively with the Knights of Neumann University. The Shoremen scored in all but two innings, the fifth and the seventh. Drew Kinsey hit two home runs and batted in four runners for the Shoremen.

How It Happened
- The Shoremen scored first in the bottom of the first inning. Will Turner was the second batter for the Shoremen, his hit down the right field line dropped just fair putting him on second base. Drew Kinsey homered to center field to send him and Turner home and earning the first two runs for the Shoremen. Right after, Zach Stolze and Chase Ruppel each walked. Two wild pitches sent Ruppel home and advanced Stolze to third. Alex Dardaris singled to center field, earning himself a base and an RBI as Stolze was batted in. The Shoremen were up, 4-0.
- Neumann recorded one run in the top of the second.
- Turner had an answer as he homered to left field to put the Shoremen back up four, 5-1. The bases were loaded with two outs as Brady Wozniak stepped up to the plate. He doubled to right field allowing two runs to score and leaving two runners in prime scoring position.
- Neumann scored four runs in the top of the third to move the score to 7-5, still in favor of the Shoremen.
- The Shoremen scored twice in the bottom of the third as Kinsey homered again to left center field to send two runs home.
- Washington College scored three times in the bottom of the fourth Pete Kokinis and Ty Everitt each recorded a hit and an RBI, the third run of the inning scored on a wild pitch. The Shoremen moved their lead to 12-5.
- Neumann scored seven runs in the top of the sixth inning to tie the score, 12-12.
- In the bottom of the sixth, Kokinis had an answer for Neumann. His first career home run was on the 0-2 pitch, straight to left field, sending him and Wozniak home to put the Shoremen up two, 15-12.
- The game was called due to darkness at the conclusion of the seventh inning. The Shoremen recorded the win, 15-12.
