Junior women's lacrosse play Piper Evans (Chestertown, Md./Queen Anne's County) is this week's Shorewoman of the Week honor. Evans tallied eight goals and added two assists in two games this past week for the Shorewomen.

The junior scored four goals and added an assist in the team's 12-11 win over Christopher Newport, including the goal that put Washington ahead for good at 9-8 with 3:30 left in the third and the eventual game-winning score with 2:56 left in the fourth to make it 12-9. On Saturday at Swarthmore, the junior led all players with a career-high six points on four goals and two assists.

This is Evans' first career Shorewoman of the Week honor.
