Lancaster, PA- The Washington College Baseball Team falls to Franklin & Marshall in their first game of their conference series, 7-4. Chase Ruppel records 100th career hit in the top of the second inning.

How It Happened
- Chase Ruppel was the first Shoremen with a hit as he earned the 100th of his career with a single to left center field in the top of the second inning. He was left on base as the Shoremen trailed Franklin & Marshall 4-0 early.
- Brady Wozniak singled to centerfield in the top of the third inning and then stole second and third to put him in scoring position. Matt O'Connor singled to the shortstop immediately after, sending Wozniak home and the Shoremen on the board, 4-1.
- The Shoremen were down 7-1 going into the top of the eighth inning. O'Connor was hit by a pitch followed by a Ty Everitt single to right field. They both advanced a base on a fielding error. Alex Dardaris sacrifice flied out to right field sending O'Connor home and putting the Shoremen within five, 7-2. The bases were loaded as two Shoremen were hit by a pitch in a row. Reese Hirsh and Scooter SanFilippo were both walked sending in the next two runs for the Shoremen. They still trailed, 7-4. Those were the last runs that would come across the base for the Shoremen as they fell to the Diplomats.
