Junior women's tennis player Eva Kading (Prairie Village, Kan./Shawnee Mission East) is this week's Shorewoman of the Week. Kading went 2-0 in doubles and 1-1 in singles in a pair of matches this week for the Shorewomen.

On Saturday in a in 6-1 win over visiting Gettysburg, Kading and Soleil Namunyola bested the Bullets' tandem of Emma Ward and Sarah Guistwite, 7-5, at the top flight. In singles versus Gettysburg, she downed Ward at No. 2, 6-1, 6-0..In doubles on Tuesday at #51 Franklin & Marshall, she teamed up with Namunyola to top the Diplomats' duo of Mackenzie Sherman and Jenna Harrison at No. 1, 7-6 (7-5).

This is Kading's first career Shorewoman of the Week honor.
