Chestertown, MD- The Washington College Baseball Team dropped to #2 Johns Hopkins in the first game of their second to last conference series, 7-1.

How It Happened
- The first Shoreman to get on base was Will Turner in the bottom of the fourth inning thanks to a fielding error by the Hopkins third baseman. Zach Stolze followed the at bat up with a single to right field. A strikeout and a pop out left two runners on base for the Shoremen, they trailed 6-0.
- Drew Kinsey homered to left field in the bottom of the eighth inning to put the first run on the board for the Shoremen.
- Elias Philiposian and the Shoremen defense recorded a one, two, three inning in the top of the ninth to hold the Blue Jays to seven runs. Turner singled with one out to put another runner on base for the Shoremen in the bottom of the ninth inning, but could not be batted in as the Shoremen drop to the Blue Jays, 7-0.
