How It Happened
- Zach Stolze was hit by a pitch and Chase Ruppel was walked to earn the first two bases for the Shoremen. Drew Kinsey sent a homer to left field to bat all runners in and set the new program record for career home runs with 21. The Shoremen led the Blue Jays, 3-0.
- Hopkins tied it up 3-3 heading into the fourth inning. Kinsey hit another homer to center field to regain the lead for the Shoremen, 4-3.
- Will Turner doubled to left field in the top of the sixth, Matt O'Connor singled in the top of the seventh and Stolze singled in the top of the eighth, all three were left on base as the Shoremen could not bat in another run as they fell to the Blue Jays, 13-4.
