How It Happened
- The Shoremen scored their first two runs in the bottom of the first inning. Ty Everitt doubled to left field. Drew Kinsey batted him in with a single to right center field. Kinsey then scored as the Swarthmore catcher tried to throw him out as he stole third.
- Swarthmore earned a run in each inning but the last two to go up 19-2 over the Shoremen.
- In the bottom of the seventh, Brandon Messer singled to center field. He then advanced to second on a failed pickoff attempt by Swarthmore's catcher. Matt O'Connor doubled to right field in his at bat to send Messer home. Charlie Knighton then sacrifice flied to right field to send O'Connor home and earn the last run of the day for the Shoremen. They fell 19-4.
