CHESTERTOWN, Md. – The host Washington College men's lacrosse team recorded its 50th all-time win over visiting McDaniel in a 20-7 win in Centennial Conference men's lacrosse action on Wednesday night on Kibler Field at Roy Kirby Jr. Stadium. The Shoremen, who took control of the game with 12 straight goals in the second and third quarters, improve to 7-6 overall and 1-4 in the Centennial, while the Green Terror falls to 4-9 and 0-4 respectively.

How It Happened
- After
Nicky Bond scored the opening goal of the game for Washington 3:45 into the game, the Green Terror scored the last three goals of the first quarter to lead 3-1 after one.
- In the second quarter, the Shoremen turned the game around by scoring all eight goals to take a 9-3 lead into halftime.
Cam Carrigan started the run 81 seconds into the second on a man-up goal from
Ben Dickinson to cut the lead to 3-2 and the two teamed up to even the game at 3-3 with 9:47 to go.

Nate Winters put WC ahead for good on an unassisted goal 27 seconds later 4-3 and Bond capped the scoring in the second from
Jack Dupuis with 2:50 left to give the Shoremen a six-goal lead into intermission.
- The Shoremen scored the first four goals of the third quarter to take a 13-3 lead with 9:15 left on a
Reeve Hargrave tally from
Grant Matthews to cap the 12-0 run.
- McDaniel broke the run 25 seconds later before WC scored the last two of the third to lead 15-4 after three.
- WC outscored McDaniel 5-3 in the fourth to provide the final margin.

- Carrigan was named Goose Nation TV Shoremen Player of the Game.
- The Shoremen, who are 50-5 all-time versus the Green Terror, have won 25 straight in the series dating back to 2002. The 50 wins is the most against any opponent Washington has played in men's lacrosse.
