How It Happened
- Mia Mavoides recorded the first hit for the Shorewomen in the top of the second inning.
- Penn State Brandywine was up 3-0 by the top of the fourth.
- Julia Weglarz singled to left field as the third batter up for the Shorewomen in the fourth. She was left on base as the next batter grounded out to the shortstop.
- Brandywine earned their final two runs in the bottom of the fourth.
- Gracelyn Goforth was the last Shorewomen to record a hit in the game as she doubled to center field in the top of the sixth. Her efforts were left unanswered as the Shorewomen could not bat any home and they fell in game one, 5-0.

How It Happened
- The Shorewomen earned the first run of the game in the first inning. Chloe Trefz led off for the Shorewomen earning her 100th career hit as she doubled down the left field line. She then stole third and advanced home on a wild pitch. Lilly Wenzel doubled to center field to put her in scoring position for Mia Mavoides who was the next batter up. Mavoides reached base on a fielding error which sent Wenzel home and earned the second run of the inning for the Shorewomen. Nevaeh Unzueta singled to the shortstop and then stole second which put her and Mavoides in prime position for Julia Weglarz who singled to left field, Mavoides scored. Becca Foulk batted in the final run of the inning for the Shorewomen with a single to right field. The Shorewomen were up, 4-0.
- Brandywine scored one run in the bottom of the first.
- The next run for the Shorewomen came in the top of the third. Weglarz doubled to left center which sent Unzueta home who singled to center field the at bat prior. The Shorewomen still led, 5-1.
- Lilly Cook led off the top of the fifth inning with a double to center field. The next batter, Wenzel, singled up the middle, sending Cook home. Wenzel then scored on a throwing error by the catcher putting the Shorewomen up five, 7-2.
- Penn State Brandywine scored three runs in the bottom of the fifth to come within two of the Shorewomen, 7-5.
- In the top of the sixth, the Shorewomen doubled three at bats in a row. Trefz doubled through the left side followed by a Gracelyn Goforth double to center field and finally a Cook double down right center. The trio scored two runs for the Shorewomen putting them up, 9-5.
- The final run for the Shorewomen was scored in the top of the seventh, Unzueta singled to center field and advanced to second on a ground out. Jenna Harper singled to right center sending Unzueta home and putting the Shorewomen up, 10-5.
- Penn State Brandywine attempted a come back in the bottom of the seventh inning, scoring two runs, but it was not a match for the Shorewomen defense who earned the third out and the game two win, 10-7.
