How it Happened
- The first goal of the game for the Shorewomen came one minute and fourteen seconds into the game. MaryCate Anson drove a shot past all Stevenson defenders and the goalie shortly after a penalty corner entry by Emma Campbell.
- Stevenson tied it up with 1:33 remaining in the first quarter, 1-1, and took the lead in the second quarter ending the first half up over the Shorewomen, 2-1.
- The Mustangs were awarded a stroke in the beginning of the third quarter to go up two over the Shorewomen, but Charlotte Schurman made a huge save in goal keeping the Shorewomen deficit to one, 2-1.
- The Shorewomen only had two more shots in the second half, none of which could make it past the Mustangs' defense. The Shorewomen dropped to the Mustangs 2-1.
