Chestertown, MD- The Washington College Men's Soccer team drop second game of Athey Cup to the Greyhounds of Moravian, 1-0. The Shoremen outshot their opponent, 24-8, with 10 on goal.

How It Happened
- The first shot of the game came from Moravian in the second minute of play but missed high left. The Shoremen had their first look at the goal in the fifth minute of play. Jordan Waiganjo missed just left of the goal.
- The Shoremen ended the half with 12 shots to Moravian's three. Five of the Shoremen shots were on goal and saved by the Greyhounds' goalie.
- Three minutes into the second half, Waiganjo had another look at the goal as he attempted a header shot off a cross from Ethan Watson.
- Five minutes later, Kevin Martinez and Waiganjo each had a stab at the goal. Waiganjo's first shot of the minute bounced back to him off the goalie's gloves and he took another strike which hit off the left side goal post.
- Moravian went up 1-0 over the Shoremen in the 62nd minute of the game.
- With 13 minutes remaining, Tshazi Kamau took his shot at tying the game, his attempt was deflected over the goal by the Greyhound's keeper.
- With 15 seconds left, Kamau floated a free kick into the box and Stefanos Georgiou got his head on it in attempts for a tying goal, but the shot was saved once again by the Greyhounds goalie. The clock expired before the Shoremen could tie the game as they fell to Moravian, 1-0.
