Chestertown, MD- The Washington College Women's Soccer team faced seventh ranked Misericordia at home. The Shorewomen held the Cougars to two goals off of 14 shots.

How It Happened
- Misericordia scored first, four minutes into the first half.
- In the 13th minute of play, Bridget Whiteside had two looks at the goal. Both of her shots in front of the goal were blocked by the back of the Cougars' defender. Maddy Gaydon not one minute later tried to slide a ball past the last line of defense but did not have enough power to hit the back of the net.
- With 15 minutes left in the first half, Lily Barnum took her first shot at the goal but hit the right-side post. The ball landed at the feet of Gaydon who took another shot but put it high over the goal.
- Fourteen minutes into the second half, Misericordia scored on an own goal by the Shorewomen defense.
- The only shot of the second half for the Shorewomen came in the 62nd minute of play by Kaileigh Brady, her shot missed just high of the goal. The Shorewomen held the Cougars to two goals for the remaining time and fell to the Cougars, 2-0.
