Salisbury, MD- The Washington College Women's Soccer team got up on Salisbury first, but ended the match in a draw with the Sea Gulls for the second straight year.

How It Happened
- The first shot for the Shorewomen came from Kaileigh Brady. Her attempt was blocked by a Sea Gull defender seven minutes into the game.
- Maddy Gaydon had the second shot of the day for the Shorewomen 22 minutes into the first half. Gaydon received a forward pass from Lily Barnum and was able to spin off her defender and push one towards the goal The Sea Gulls' goalie was able to scoop up the ball and record the save.
- Nine minutes into the second half, Sophie Kilbride took a shot from the right side of the field. Her attempt was blocked by Salisbury's defense and earned the Shorewomen a corner kick which they could not connect on.
- One minute later, Gaydon looked to cross the ball from the left side of the goal and caused chaos for the Sea Gulls defense as the ball bounced off the defender and went past the goalie towards the back of the net. The Shorewomen were first on the board, 1-0.
- Salisbury tied it up sixteen minutes into the half off a corner kick.
- Lindsey Nguyen and Gina Phillips each had shots on goal in the 72nd minute of the game, but each were saved by the Sea Gulls goalie. The game ended in a draw for the second year in a row.
