SELINSGROVE, Pa. – Host Susquehanna scored with 40 seconds left in the fourth to break a 1-1 tie to net a 2-1 win over visiting Washington College in a non-conference field hockey game on Saturday afternoon at the Sassafras Multipurpose Field. The River Hawks improve to 2-3 on the season, while the Shorewomen are 1-4.

How It Happened
- The River Hawks held a 12-4 advantage in shots in the first half, but there was no score at halftime.
- In the third quarter, the Shorewomen outshot the home side 5-1, but neither side found the back of the cage.
- Susquehanna would score the game's first goal with 6:31 to go in the fourth quarter off of a rebounded shot.

Emma Campbell would tie just over three minutes later off of a penalty corner finishing off a feed from
Tara Radebaugh to knot it at 1-1 with 3:28 left.
- The Shorewomen had one final shot to take the lead, but the shot by
Natalie Watkinson was blocked with 2:47 to go.
- Susquehanna was award a penalty corner with 49 seconds to go and nine seconds later the River Hawks scored the go ahead goal.
- The River Hawks held the Shorewomen without a shot in the final 40 ticks.
