Carr Jr. Tallies 13 Points to Set Career-Best

HAVERFORD, Pa. – Host Haverford downed visiting Washington College, 92-74, on Saturday afternoon at Gooding Arena in Centennial Conference men's basketball action. The Fords improve to 7-10 overall and 1-4 in the Centennial, while the Shoremen are now 10-7 and 0-5 respectively.

How It Happened
- Haverford scored seven of the final 11 points in the first half to take a 35-34 lead into halftime.
- In the second half, the Fords netted 10 of the first 12 points to grab a 45-36 advantage with 17:49 remaining.
- Trailing 72-51 with 7:31 to go in the game, the Shoremen would go on a 21-9 run to trim the deficit to 81-72 with 1:59 left on a four-point play by David Carr Jr.
- That's as close as Washington would get as Haverford totaled 11 of the final 13 points to provide the final margin.

- Jaedon Harris (15 points and four steals), Carr Jr. (13 points), Nolan Waldon (11 points)
- The Shoremen shot 40% (27-for-67) from the floor, 37% (11-for-30) from three-point range and 64% (9-for-14) from the foul line. 
- Washington outscored the Fords in points off turnovers (18-12) and transition points (23-13).
- The Shoremen had 20 rebounds and nine turnovers, while forcing 23 miscues by the Fords.
