HAVERFORD, Pa. – Host Haverford downed visiting Washington College, 92-74, on Saturday afternoon at Gooding Arena in Centennial Conference men's basketball action. The Fords improve to 7-10 overall and 1-4 in the Centennial, while the Shoremen are now 10-7 and 0-5 respectively.

- Haverford scored seven of the final 11 points in the first half to take a 35-34 lead into halftime.
- In the second half, the Fords netted 10 of the first 12 points to grab a 45-36 advantage with 17:49 remaining.
- Trailing 72-51 with 7:31 to go in the game, the Shoremen would go on a 21-9 run to trim the deficit to 81-72 with 1:59 left on a four-point play by
