Chestertown, MD - The Washington College women's basketball team got their revenge on Bryn Mawr at home, 72-27. A monster 27 point performance by Kaitlyn Boggs secured her name in the record books as they 10th Shorewomen in program history to notch 1000 career points.

How It Happened
- The Shorewomen held the Owls of Bryn Mawr to zero points as they hopped out to a 14-0 lead in the first quarter. Abby Meredith led the way with six points with Kaitlyn Boggs right behind her with five.
- Bryn Mawr scored their first basket of the game 26 seconds into the second period. The Shorewomen did not let it affect their momentum as they scored 26 points to Bryn Mawr's three more. The Shorewomen headed into the locker room 40-5.
- The Owls scored ten more in the third period, but the Shorewomen held the steady lead 54-15 heading into the final period.
- Boggs sat ten points away from earning her 1000th career point. She scored a quick three points with a made free throw and a layup after capturing an offensive rebound. With seven points to go, she was fouled going up for a layup and was sent to the free throw line to complete the three-point play. She scored back-to-back layups to earn her 27th point of the night and notch her name as the 10th player in program history to earn 1000 career points.
- The Shorewomen rode that momentum for the rest of the game, putting Bryn Mawr away, 73-27.
