WESTMINSTER, Md. – Visiting Washington College scored 12 of the game's last 15 points spanning the end of the fourth quarter and overtime to turn a 42-38 deficit into a 50-45 extra session win on Wednesday night on Rebecca L. Martin Court in Centennial Conference women's basketball action. The Shorewomen are now 10-10 overall and 5-5 in the Centennial, while the Green Terror is now 16-4 and 5-4 respectively.

How It Happened
- McDaniel scored the game's opening eight points in the first 4:23 of the first quarter. The Green Terror took a 14-8 lead after one.
- Trailing 22-12 with 6:58 left in the second, the Shorewomen scored 12 straight points to take a 24-22 edge with 59 seconds to go on a
Kaitlyn Boggs basket. McDaniel would answer with a three on the next possession to take a 25-24 advantage into halftime.
- Washington came out strong in the third with 10 of the first 14 points to grab a 34-29 lead with 3:57 left on an
Abby Meredith layup. McDaniel however scored eight straight to regain the lead at 37-34 with 1:01 left on a driving lay-in. Boggs sank two free throws in the final minute to trim the deficit to 37-36 and that would be the score entering the fourth.
- In the fourth, the home side led 42-38 with 4:19 to go before WC tallied the last two baskets to level the game at 42-42 with 2:20 to go on a Boggs layup. McDaniel had the final chance to win it in regulation, but it could not convert.
Emma Robinson began the game-closing run on a layup with 2:54 remaining.
- Washington scored the first four points of overtime with the winning points coming on a Boggs bunny with 1:24 left at 46-42. McDaniel would drain a three on the next possession to cut it to one, but the road side canned four free throws in the in the final 57 seconds to come away with the win.

- Boggs (game-bests of 24 points and four blocks), Robinson (career-high and game-topping seven steals and team-leading 12 rebounds), Meredith (12 points)
- WC shot 39% from the floor (19-for-49), 50% from three-point range (1-for-2) and 65% (11-for-17) from the foul line in the game.
- The Shorewomen turned it over 19 times and 40 rebounds in the game.
- WC outscored McDaniel in points in the paint, 28-6, and transition points, 7-5.
