Gettysburg, PA- The Shorewomen faced Gettysburg in their first contest of the new year. The Shorewomen took an early deficit against the Bullets and could not recover despite a double-double performance from Kaitlyn Boggs who recorded 18 points and 15 rebounds.

How It Happened
- Emma Robinson scored the first basket for the Shorewomen in the first quarter. Her bucket off an offensive rebound tied things up early against Gettysburg. The Shorewomen scored only three more points in the period as they ended the first ten minutes down, 22-5.
- With 7:28 remaining in the second, Amaya Cash secured a steal to give the ball back to the Shorewomen, Ellie Carter-Soriano found Kaitlyn Boggs who was able to score down below. Boggs scored the next four baskets for the Shorewomen with Abby Meredith adding in the last basket of the half. The Shorewomen trailed 42-17, heading into the second half.
- The Shorewomen started the second half on an 8-0 run, started by a layup from Robinson and an and one play by Boggs. They were down 19 with 5:55 left in the third. Gettysburg was able to gain a lead of 30 over the Shorewomen before Taylor Shane sunk a three pointer to put an end to the unanswered Bullets run.
- The Shorewomen scored 12 points in the final quarter but could not make up the deficit as they ended the day down 35, 79-44.
