Sophomore women's tennis player Jayda Browne (Saint Peter's, Saint Kitts and Nevis/Washington Archibald) is this week's Shorewoman of the Week. Browne went 2-0 in singles and picked up the match clinching victory in the team's win over Catholic on Saturday.

In Saturday's 4-3 win over visiting Catholic, the sophomore topped the Cardinals' Marcela Pena, 6-0, 6-1, at No. 6 to win the match for the Shorewomen in a 4-3 triumph. On Sunday against Stevens, Browne bested the Ducks' Kaylee Hobbick, 6-3, 4-6, 6-2.

This is Browne's first career Shorewoman of the Week honor.
