How It Happened
- The Shorewomen trailed Haverford after six minutes of play, 9-6. Kaitlyn Boggs led a 6-2 run for the Shorewomen to close out the period up 12-11.
- The first basket of the second came almost three minutes into the period, Boggs scored a layup off a pass from Sarah Oleary. Abby Meredith followed that basket up with a pull up jumper off a screen with 6:54 left to play in the half. The Shorewomen were up 16-11.
- Washington College controlled the scoring the rest of the period with nine points compared to the Fords' six. Meredith closed out the half with a three pointer along the lower left baseline to put the Shorewomen ahead 25-17 heading into the locker room.
- Haverford scored the first points coming out of half, they were down four, 25-21 with seven remaining in the third. Emma Robinson and Peyton Berger put an end to their run each scoring a layup to put the Shorewomen up 29-21. The Shorewomen closed out the period on a 7-5 run to head into the final ten minutes ahead 34-26.
- Meredith scored eight of the final 18 points for the Shorewomen in the final period. They held Haverford to only 13 and were able to take the game, 52-41.
- The Shorewomen head to Ursinus on Saturday to decide their fate in the Centennial Conference postseason tournament.
