Rawa Nets Centennial Conference Swimmer of the Week

Earns Weekly Award for Second Time This Season and Third Time Overall

LANCASTER, Pa. – Junior men's swimmer Nathan Rawa (Lansdale, Pa./North Penn) has been named the Centennial Conference Men's Swimmer of the Week for the week of January 25-February 1. This is the second time Rawa has landed the Centennial's weekly award this season and has received it three times in his career.

Rawa won four events, set three pool records and improved on one program-best mark in a pair of meets for Washington College. On Friday night against #17 Salisbury, Rawa broke his own program-best mark in the 100-yard individual medley and netted two Casey Swim Center pool records on his way to two wins in the meet. Rawa won the 100 IM with a program and pool-record time of 52.44, breaking his previous best mark of 52.93, as the mark of 52.44 ranks third in Centennial history in the event. The junior also won the 100 butterfly with a pool-record time of 50.61. On Saturday at Ursinus, Rawa set the William Elliott Pool record in the 100 breaststroke in 58.72. He also tallied a victory in the 400 IM and was part of the winning 200 medley relay against the Bears.

The junior previously won the conference's weekly award earlier this season on November 18, 2025, and picked it up for the first on November 14, 2023.
