Chestertown, MD - The Washington College women's basketball team dropped against Dickinson, 59-49 despite holding a six-point lead after the first half.

How It Happened
- The Shorewomen trailed 7-2 within the first three minutes of the game. Kaitlyn Boggs went on an 8-3 run against the Red Devils tying the score 10-10 with 1:54 remaining in the period. Maggie Lawrence sunk two free throws to put the Shorewomen up, 12-10.
- Dickinson could not get past the Shorewomen defense to open up the second period as they only scored three points in the first six minutes of play. Fouls began stacking up for the Shorewomen allowing Dickinson to score five points from the free throw line to close out the half, but the Shorewomen kept pushing their offense as they led heading into the locker room, 29-23.
- Dickinson started the third quarter on an 11-0 scoring run to push themselves ahead, 34-29. The score was 36-32 with 5:58 in the third, Sarah Oleary sunk a three pointer off an assist from Boggs to put the Shorewomen down one, 36-35. Boggs sunk one free throw to tie the score at 36 with 4:50 remaining in the quarter. Dickinson went on an 8-5 run to close out the period up three, 44-41.
- Boggs opened up the final quarter with seven points, the last three coming from an and one play as she was fouled going up for a layup. The last and only other basket to come for the Shorewomen was a three pointer by Meredith assisted by Ellie Carer-Soriano. The Shorewomen lost their early lead and eventually the game to the Red Devils, 59-49.
