Chestertown, MD- The Washington College Men's Basketball team took Dickinson to the wire in their closest conference match to date this season. The Shoremen fell in the final four seconds as Dickinson sunk a jumper to go up one point over the Shoremen.

How It Happened
- The score was all tied up, 9-9, five minutes into the first half as David Carr Jr. sunk a three-pointer from Ty Woodland. Dickinson took the lead back with a little over 11 minutes left to play, 13-12.
- The Shoremen trailed until Woodland scored two off a layup to tie it up 22-22 with 5:14 left in the half. With 3:17 left in the first half, Jaedon Harris sunk a three-pointer to push the Shoremen ahead, 27-26.
- Dickinson reclaimed the lead with 56 seconds left, but the Shoremen had the answer as Harris completed a three-point play after being fouled going up for a layup. The Shoremen led at the half, 32-31.
- Dickinson came out of the locker room with a 5-0 unanswered run. Carr Jr. nailed a three as the Shoremen were on the board for the first time of the half, a little over two minutes in.
- Jon Nalty earned two points as he put a layup away after Jacob Becker brought down the board. The Shoremen were up, 40-39 with 14:25 remaining.
- The score remained close for the rest of the half. The Shoremen led 58-57 with 2:25 left to play. Dickinson sunk two free throws to take a one point lead over the Shoremen, 59-58 with 30 seconds left. Nalty was fouled on a jumper that sent him to the line. He sunk both to take back the one point lead, 60-59. With five seconds remaining, the Red Devils were able to sneak in a layup on the baseline to take back the lead. With 3.7 seconds left, the Shoremen came up short on their final basket as they fell to Dickinson, 61-60.
