Chestertown, MD- The Washington College baseball team took down Delaware Valley in eight innings, 14-4. Brett Connolly and Brady Wozniak combined for nine RBI off four hits.

How It Happened
- Drew Kinsey was walked as the first Shoremen batter of the game. He stole both second and third base. He scored as Brett Connolly batted into a fielder's choice, earning an RBI. Brady Wozniak singled to right center field to send both Connolly and Chase Ruppel home who walked three batters earlier. The Shoremen led, 3-0.
- Delaware Valley scored two runs in the top of the second.
- In the bottom of that same inning, six Shoremen runs scored off three hits. Andrew Keenan was walked to lead off. He was sent home by Pete Kokinis who doubled to left center. Matt Lewis was walked as the next batter. The Shoremen followed with five more runs, all unearned. Connolly, Ty Everitt, and Wozniak each earned RBI with Wozniak sending in two to put the Shoremen up 9-2.
- Ryan Timmons and Ruppel each earned a base to start the bottom of the fifth inning. Timmons was walked and Ruppel hit by a pitch. They were both batted in by Connolly who tripled to right field putting the Shoremen up, 13-3. Connolly collected his fifth RBI of the day.
- Delaware Valley earned one run in the top of the seventh to push the Shoremen lead to nine, forcing the Shoremen offense in the bottom of the seventh. The Shoremen were runless and the game headed into the eighth.
- The Shoremen held the Aggies to zero as they headed into the bottom of the eighth still up, 13-4.
- Wozniak was hit by a pitch to begin the bottom of the eighth inning. He was able to steal both second and third. Luke Herz walked in the middle of Wozniak's steals. Kokinis was walked immediately after and the bases were loaded for the Shoremen with the walk-off run on base. Lewis gets hit by a pitch in his at bat sending Wozniak home and ending the game in due of the 10 run mercy rule, 14-4.
