Chestertown, MD- Washington College Softball splits with the Bullets of Gettysburg. The Shorewomen held Gettysburg to zero runs in game one despite the Bullets' seven hits.

How It Happened
- Jenna Harper led off the second inning with her 100th career hit, a single over the third baseman. An error by the catcher on a bunt by Becca Foulk put her at first and Harper at second. Lindsay Worley put down a successful sacrifice bunt to push the runners ahead. A fly ball to centerfield by Julia Weglarz sent Harper home and the Shorewomen on the board first, 1-0.
- Gracelyn Goforth doubled to left center field to lead off in the bottom of the third inning. Lilly Wenzel earned second base because of an error by the first baseman. Because of this error, Goforth was able to score putting the Shorewomen ahead, 2-0.
- Wenzel singled up the middle with one out to start the bottom of the fifth inning. A sacrifice bunt by Cece Johnston moved her to second. Harper collected her third hit of the day with a single to center field allowing Wenzel to score and extending the Shorewomen lead to 3-0.
- The Shorewomen kept the Bullets at zero in both the top of the sixth and the seventh to walk away with the game one win, 3-0.

How It Happened
- Grace Allen walked as the lead off batter in the bottom of the first inning. She was pushed to third as Gracelyn Goforth singled into centerfield and advanced to second on a fielding error by the center fielder.
- Gettysburg took the lead in the top of the fourth, scoring four runs, to go up 4-1 over the Shorewomen.
- Gettysburg led 8-1 heading into the bottom of the seventh. Becca Foulk led off with a single up the middle. She advanced to second on a wild pitch. Julia Welglarz singled up the middle and sent Foulk home. Weglarz was thrown out on the advance to second, the Shorewomen trailed 8-2. Gettysburg was able to record the last out and take game two.
