COLLEGEVILLE, Pa. – Visiting Washington College swept host Ursinus, 7-0, on Tuesday afternoon at Ace Bailey Tennis Courts in a Centennial Conference men's tennis match.

Doubles
- The Shoremen won two of three in doubles to earn the doubles point. The top flight of
Tichi Chialva and
Jorge Urgal Zuleta claimed a 6-1 win in the opening doubles match to finish. The tandem of
Oskar Wroblewski and
Kohl Perkins took care of business at third doubles in a 6-3 victory to clinch the doubles point. Second doubles of
Petter Storberg and
Demir Isiker dropped a 6-3 result at second doubles.
Singles
- Urgal Zuleta handled Ursinus at No. 5 in a 6-1, 6-0 win.
- Chialva made it 3-0 for the road side in a 6-4, 6-2 score at first singles.
- Isiker put the match in the win column for the Shoremen at four singles, 6-2, 6-4.
- Wroblewski was taken to three sets at No. 6, but came away with a 6-4, 1-6, 6-3 result

Maxi Synnestvedt overcame a 6-2 loss in the first set at No. 2 to win in three sets, winning the second and third sets by the same 6-0 score.
- Perkins fell in the first set at third singles 6-7 (6-8), but rallied to win the last two sets to complete the shutout win with scores of 6-3, 1-0 (10-2) in the last two sets.
Notes
- Washington is now 6-5 overall and 2-1 in the Centennial, while Ursinus is 7-5 and 0-3 respectively.
