Pikesville, MD- The Washington College baseball team traveled to play Stevenson in their final non-conference outing of the season. Stevenson took the game in the bottom of the ninth inning.

How It Happened
- The Shoremen scored three runs off four hits in the top of the first inning to get scoring started. Drew Kinsey and Brett Connolly led off each with a single. Chase Ruppel doubled to left field and sent Kinsey home to put the Shoremen on the board. A sacrifice fly by Ty Everitt sent Connolly home and the Shoremen were up 2-0 with one out. Ruppel was able to score on a wild pitch and the Shoremen left the inning up, 3-0.
- The score was tied, 3-3 heading into the fifth inning. The Shoremen opened it up with three singles from Brady Thompson, Connolly, and Ruppel. Thompson scored on a wild pitch, taking the lead for the Shoremen. A double by Everitt down the left field line scored Connolly and a bases clearing Tahir Parker triple put the Shoremen ahead, 7-3. Matt Lewis batted in Parker with a single to right center and the Shoremen were up, 8-3.
- The Mustangs scored at least one run in every inning after to tie the score in the bottom of the seventh, 8-8.
- Parker and Matt Lewis each sat on base as Wyatt Udhe entered the game to pinch hit. A ground out by Udhe sent Parker home and put the Shoremen up with a 9-8 lead heading into the bottom of the eighth inning.
- Stevenson was able to score one run in the top bottom of the eighth to tie it up, 9-9. A fielder's choice in the bottom of the ninth inning gave them the lead and the win over the Shoremen, 10-9.
