Chestertown, MD- Washington College Softball takes both against the visiting Bears of Ursinus on Senior Day. The Shorewomen took the lead first in game one and the defense protected it where the offense came alive in game two to take the lead from the Bears and end the game with a four run lead.

How It Happened
- Ursinus scored first in the top of the first inning to go up 1-0.
- Julia Weglarz led off the bottom of the first with a double to left center field. Gracelyn Goforth followed that hit with one of her own, a single to left field. A walk for Emma Trainer loaded the bases with only one out early for the Shorewomen. Jenna Harper singled to shallow low field to send the first run home. The Shorewomen left the inning tying the score, 1-1.
- With one out, Grace Allen was walked and Weglarz singled to left field. A fielder's choice retired Allen but moved Weglarz to second and Goforth on first. Lilly Wenzel batted in Weglarz with a single to shallow left and the Shorewomen took the lead, 2-1.
- Harper led off the bottom of the third with a double to left field. She advanced on a ground out. A double to left center by Lindsay Worley sent Harper home, but the third out was captured as Worley attempted to advance to third. The Shorewomen had a two run lead, 3-1.
- With two outs in the bottom of the fourth, Trainer doubled to left center sending two runs home and moving the Shorewomen lead to 5-1.
- Amaya Cash was batted in by Allen as she was in to pinch run for Cece Johnston who was walked to get on base. Cash scored on an error by the first baseman as Allen singled to first base. Allen scored as Weglarz tripled to center field to put the Shorewomen up by six, 7-1.
- Ursinus scored five runs in the top of the sixth to move their deficit to only one, 7-6.
- The Shorewomen did not score any in the bottom of the sixth, but recorded an easy three outs in the top of the seventh to take the game, 7-6.

How It Happened
- Ursinus scored four runs in the top of the third inning to go up, 4-0.
- Julia Weglarz doubled to right field to start the bottom of the third. Gracelyn Goforth followed her with a double to shallow right field. A walk for Lilly Wenzel loaded the bases for the Shorewomen with zero outs. Emma Trainer rocked a single up the middle to send a runner home. The bases remain loaded and the Shorewomen were on the board, 4-1. A bases clearing double from Becca Foulk tied the score and the Shorewomen were back in it, 4-4.
- Weglarz and Goforth got it started again in the bottom of the fourth inning. Weglarz was walked and Goforth singled to left field to put themselves on base with one out. Lilly Wenzel singled through the third baseman and shortstop to send Weglarz home and the Shorewomen captured the lead, 5-4.
- A walk loaded the bases again for the Shorewomen with one out. Jenna Harper singled over the first baseman's head to send two runners in and the Shorewomen took the lead, 7-4. Cece Johnston doubled to right center to send two more runners in and increased the lead to 9-4.
- Lilly Wenzel hit a home run to center field in the bottom of the sixth inning to earn the 10th run of the game for the Shorewomen as they led heading into the final frame, 10-4.
- Haverford scored two in the top of the seventh, but it was not enough as the Shorewomen had it, 10-6.
