Swarthmore, PA- Washington College Baseball took the early lead from host Swarthmore and never faltered. They beat out Swarthmore by ten, 13-3, scoring 13 runs off 13 hits.

How It Happened
- Drew Kinsey singled to lead off the game. He stole second and third and the Shoremen had runners on the corners with two outs as Reese Hirsh was walked. Kinsey was able to reach home on a wild pitch and the Shoremen took the lead, 1-0.
- Brett Connolly hit a home run to center field to lead off the top of the third inning and put the Shoremen ahead, 2-0.
- Kinsey and Connolly were both walked to begin the fifth inning. Chase Ruppel sent both batters, and himself, home with a three RBI home run to left field. Ruppel tied the record for home runs in a season with this hit putting him at 11.
- Alex Dardaris singled through the right side and Pete Kokinis earned base on an error by the third baseman as the Shoremen had two on with one out. Brady Wozniak doubled to right field allowing Dardaris to score and Matt O'Connor hit a sacrifice fly to the left fielder sending Kokinis home. The Shoremen left the inning up 7-0.
- Swarthmore scored two in the bottom of the fifth still trailing the Shoremen, 7-2.
- The Shoremen extended their lead in the top of the sixth. They scored three runs off three hits to go up 10-2 over Swarthmore. The Shoremen pushed their lead to 13-3 in the top of ninth inning. They recorded three outs faster than Swarthmore could score a run in the bottom of the ninth to take the game by ten, 13-3.
