Galloway, N.J. - The Washington College Shorewomen fell to Stockton University, 6-2, on Wednesday evening in a non-conference field hockey game as Stockton Turf Field. Sophomore forward
Jamie Baldwin (Church Hill, Md./Queen Anne's County) scored twice for the Shorewomen for the first two goals of her career. The Ospreys go to 3-2 on the season, while the Shorewomen are 2-3.

- The Shorewomen created offensive pressure in the opening quarter as freshman

Charlotte Schurman made five saves in the opening 15 minutes to keep Washington College within striking distance after the Ospreys scored twice in the first 2:53 of the opening quarter to take a 2-0 lead.
- After allowing a goal 1:09 into the second quarter, Washington College continued to battle in the second, earning a penalty corner with 6:50 remaining.

Erin Houlihan each recorded shots on Stockton's goal that were saved. The Ospreys added another goal with 1:23 remaining in the quarter to take a 4-0 lead over the Shorewomen.
- The Shorewomen got on the board with 2:30 remaining in the third quarter as Baldwin scored her first goal of the season and her career off a penalty corner to cut the deficit to 4-1. Washington College continued to generate opportunities, earning two additional penalty corners late in the quarter while Schurman made another save.
- Stockton outscored Washington in the fourth, 2-1 to provide the final margin. The Ospreys scored 2:16 into the stanza before the Shorewomen cut the deficit with 8:33 remaining as Baldwin scored her second goal of the night on an assist from
Natalie Watkinson making the score 5-2.
