VISITING ATHLETIC TRAINERS

The Washington College Sports Medicine team welcomes you and your team to the Eastern Shore of Maryland!
The following information is for your convenience and should you have any questions please reach out to the Athletic Trainer specific to the sport that you are travelling with. 

PRIMARY SPORT ASSIGNMENTS

Matt An- Volleyball, Baseball, Men's and Women's Golf, Trap & Skeet 
Tyler Faulkner- Women's Soccer, Men's and Women's Swim, Men's Lacrosse, Sailing 
Nicki Crouch- Men's Soccer, Women's Basketball, Women's Lacrosse, Men's Rowing, Women's Tennis 
Marcus Hong- Field Hockey, Men's Basketball, Softball, Women's Rowing, Men's Tennis

Directions to the Athletic Training Room:

Enter through the Cain doors, make a left into the gymnasium and make an immediate left to go down a set of stairs.
Once you are down the stairs, turn right down the long hallway.
The second to last door on the left at the end of the hallway is the Athletic Training Room.

Event Coverage:

- A certified athletic trainer will be on sight for all home contests
- The athletic training room will open two hours prior to competition and will end 30 minutes after competition
- The certified athletic trainer will have all emergency equipment including an AED on the sideline with them
- Water and injury ice will be placed at location of competition
- EMS will be on call for all home events


If you are traveling without an Athletic Trainer:

- Please provide at least 24 hours' notice to Sports Medicine Staff
- Please send team with a fully stocked med kit and a comprehensive list of all tapings and wrappings at least 24 hours prior
- Upon arrival, our Game Management staff will bring your athletes to the Athletic Training Room as we may not be on the field or court immediately upon your arrival
- Should a serious injury occur, the athletic trainer covering the event will contact you with evaluation information.
