Michael Festa

Michael Festa returned to his alma mater as an assistant baseball coach in spring 2018. He was a two-year varsity player for the Washington College baseball team in 2012 and 2013, playing in 45 games as a Shoreman. He earned a spot on the Centennial Conference Academic Honor Roll in 2013.  During his freshman campaign, the 2012 team made the Centennial Conference championship game and set the program record for wins in a season, which still stands. 

Festa's coaching experience spans all levels of both baseball and softball from tee-ball through collegiate.  That includes a stint in 2014 as a student assistant coach for the Washington College softball team, aiding head coach Lacey Lister with all aspects of the program.  Since leaving Washington College, he has stayed involved as a coach and instructor at various baseball academies, most recently with All-Star Baseball Academy in Warminster, Pa., and Bucks County Baseball Academy in Newtown, Pa. 

Festa has held various roles within the investment management and financial services industries since graduating from Washington College in 2014. He actively holds the FINRA Series 7, 9, 10, 24, 52, 53, and 66 Licenses. In his current role as a Compliance Testing Analyst in the Legal Department of T. Rowe Price Investment Services, he helps ensure that the Firm is following all industry rules and regulations. He currently works in Owings Mills, MD and resides in Baltimore.

Festa graduated from Washington College in 2014 with a BA in Economics and minors in Political Science and Accounting/Finance.  He was also the recipient of the 2014 Senior Economics Department Award.  During his time at the school, he was an integral part of the Brown Advisory Student-Managed Investment Fund, the Washington to Wall Street program, and the Peer Mentor program.
