come-from-behind 54-53 over host Washington College in the
Centennial Conference women's basketball opener for both teams
tonight at Cain Athletic Center. The Diplomats, who trailed by as
many as 15 points in the second half, ended the game on a 12-2 run
to improve to 3-0 overall. The Shorewomen fell to 0-3 with the
loss.
Both teams struggled offensively in the first half
as the Shorewomen shot just 5-of-21 from the floor, while the
Diplomats were 8-for-28. Washington took a 24-18 lead in the break
