Boggs Secures All-Centennial First Team Honors

First WC Player to Land First Team in 14 Years; Robinson Tabbed to All-Sportsmanship

LANCASTER, Pa. – Senior center Kaitlyn Boggs (Linwood, N.J./Mainland Regional) has been named All-Centennial Conference first team for women's basketball in a vote conducted by conference's 11 head coaches. Boggs is the first member of Shorewomen Basketball to be named All-Centennial first team in 14 years and the third player in team history to land the honor. In addition, senior guard/forward Emma Robinson (Washington, D.C./Elizabeth Seton [Md.]) represented the Shorewomen on the conference's All-Sportsmanship Team for the first time in women's basketball.

Boggs, who played and started in 25 games this winter, led the team in points per game (16.9), points (423), field goals made (156), field goal percentage (.486), free throws made (111), blocks (40) and blocks per game (1.6), while placing second on the squad in rebounds per game at 10.3 as she set career-bests in several categories. Through the end of the Centennial Conference Tournament, she is second in field goal percentage, third in points, points per game, rebounds, rebounds per game, blocks and blocks per game. Boggs is now a two-time all-conference selection as she was a second team honoree last season.

robinson_26_act6_wbbThe senior who played in 104 career games with 99 starts, finished her career as team's all-time leader in blocked shots (140), third in points (1,138) and free throws made (278) and fourth in rebounds (789).

The senior is the first All-CC first team pick from Washington since Meghan Tait '12 in 2011-12 and third overall as Elise Conway '08 was a first team honoree in 2007-08.

Robinson averaged a Centennial-best 12.2 rebounds and 37.3 minutes per game in starting all 26 games this season. Each Centennial Conference member institution was permitted to nominate one student from each winter program who exemplifies the best in sportsmanship for the All-Sportsmanship Team. Nominations were submitted by the athletic departments or head coaches.

Since 2021-22, Washington has had eight all-conference selections and was named the Centennial's Coaching Staff of the Year in 2023-24.
