ALLENTOWN, PA - Nineteenth-ranked host Muhlenberg College defeated visiting Washington College, 5-0, in a Centennial Conference men's soccer game this afternoon in Allentown, PA.

Muhlenberg (7-0-4, 2-0-3 Centennial) took a 1-0 lead at the 13:48 mark as Josh Luginbuhl scored during a corner kick off a double-assist from Cody Antonini and Jacob Joseph. The Mules made it 2-0 on a goal by Steve Giannacio off an assist from Tom Reilly at 38:05.  Muhlenberg took its 2-0 lead into halftime after a 9-2 advantage in shots in the period.

The Mules tacked on their third goal when Luginbuhl knocked in a loose ball at 62:34. Reilly scored the fourth goal off an assist from Tim Leischner at 75:15 and assisted on the fifth - by Antonini - at 80:37.

The Mules finished with a 25-5 advantage in shots and a 9-2 edge in corner kicks in the game.

Junior forward Jordan Haas (Wyomissing, PA/Wilson) had a team-high two shots for Washington.

The Shoremen (3-8-1, 0-4-1) return to action Friday with a 7:00 p.m. Centennial Conference home game against Gettysburg.
