Breslin was fouled after he grabbed Cousart's miss and drained both from the line to make it 85-81 with 3.3 seconds remaining. Hilton made the first two, but made the third free throw to cut the lead to 85-84. Washington was able to inbound the ball to Kines who ran out the clock and Washington got the win and its spot in the tournament.
