Morgan Wins Three Individual Events in Victory
CHESTER, Pa. — Senior Lucas Morgan (Allendale, N.J./Northern Highlands Regional) won three individual events as the visiting Washington College men's swim team improved to 5-0 this season with a 147-115 victory over host Widener University this evening in Chester, Pa. The win was the Shoremen's 12th in a row in dual meets, dating back to early last season.

How It Happened
- The Shoremen won the meet by 32 points despite not winning either relay. Instead, Washington won eight individual events, took seven individual second-place finishes, and went took first through third in three individual events.
- Morgan won the 1000 freestyle in 10:18.18, the 200 breaststroke in 2:11.93, and the 200 individual medley in 2:00.73.
- Pat Elliott won the 200 backstroke in 2:00.36 and the 500 freestyle in 5:02.24 and was second in the 200 freestyle in 1:45.45.
- Kevin Mackenzie won the 100 breaststroke in 1:02.66 and placed second in the 100 freestyle in 49.34. Seth Wrigley won the 200 butterfly in 2:02.98, while Ty Cummings took the 100 butterfly in 53.33.
- Charles Logan was second in both backstroke events, finishing the 100 in 55.43 and the 200 in 2:02.54. Brent Hochstein was second in the 200 butterfly in 2:03.80 and in the 200 individual medley in 2:06.68. Brent Longenecker placed second in the 100 butterfly in 53.58.
Notes
- Morgan has entered 18 individual scoring events this season, including 15 in dual meets and three at the Yellow Jacket Invitational, and has won them all.
- Widener fell to 6-3 this season with the loss.
