Shoremen Post Fastest Times in All 11 Events
ELIZABETHTOWN, Pa. — The visiting Washington College men's swim team improved to 6-0 in dual meets this season with a 129-69 win over host Elizabethtown College (2-6) this afternoon. The Shoremen posted the fastest times in all 11 of the meet's events.

How It Happened
- The Shoremen opened the meet with a 1:45.16 winning time in the 200 medley relay turned in by Cody Weiler, Ty Cummings, Charles Logan, and Pat Elliott and never looked back. DJ Bradshaw then won the 1000 freestyle and Jason Mercando won the 200 freestyle in 1:56.45.
- It was all Shoremen after that as Weiler won the 50 freestyle in 22.70, Karl Melchior and Lucas Morgan tied to win the 100 individual medley in 59.31, Cummings won the 100 butterfly in 53.85, Elliott took the 100 freestyle in 51.00, Logan captured the 100 backstroke in 56.38, and Kevin Mackenzie won the 500 freestyle in 5:16.09.
- Washington entered the final two events as exhibition entrants only, but still had the fastest times as Morgan swam a 1:03.64 in the 100 breaststroke and Logan, Ryan Stevens, Mercando, and Bradshaw paced the 200 freestyle relay in 1:34.50.
- Mercando was also second in the in the 500 freestyle in 5:24.14. Brent Longenecker placed second in the 50 freestyle in 22.98. Morgan added a second-place finish in the 100 backstroke in 1:00.12, while Finny Dorsch was second in the 200 freestyle in 1:58.18
